Brass Chapati Box

Traditionally used in India for storing freshly made chapati breads. Brass Chapati boxes were a staple in almost every Indian household, often being passed down through the family. These were used everyday when families would gather and enjoy hearty, fragrant meals together. They were placed over heat to keep breads warm. These are 60 + years old and show signs of a past life lived! Beautiful!
